Course Summary

The purpose of this course is to empower licensed massage and esthetics professionals to elevate their practice through authentic and effective consultations. By fostering deeper connections with clients, participants will learn to provide tailored services that not only meet but exceed client expectations. This course will ultimately enhance professional satisfaction, increase client loyalty, and promote holistic wellness in their practices.

Participants will leave with practical tools and techniques to transform their consultation processes, ensuring that each client feels valued, understood, and supported in their wellness journey.

Learning Objectives

At this end of this training, participants will be able to...

Master 6 fundamentals necessary for establishing a connection with their guests.
Lead an effective pre-service consultation which elicits critical information needed to form a customized treatment plan for each guest.
Gain confidence in appropriate consultation skills during treatment.
Perfect the post-service consultation to professionally recommend at-home continued care, suitable retail to match the guests’ needs, and how to recommend an appropriate interval between the next treatment.

meet the instructor

Theresa "Reese" Warren

Originally a St. Louis native, Reese attended Body Therapy Institute, a premier massage therapy program outside of Chapel Hill, NC. After graduating in 2009, she joined the faculty of BTI until its closure in 2016. She was then named the Director of Education at Carolina Massage Institute where she was also an instructor. She is delighted to return to the south city neighborhoods she calls home. Skilled in a variety of modalities, her specialty is myofascial structural integration and movement repatterning for active adults, athletes and chronic pain sufferers. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and kayaking.
