Reflexology Massage training

Course Summary

This course provides an introduction to the theory and practice of reflexology of the feet. It will explain and define reflexology points on the feet and how they relate to the systems of the body. Demonstration and practice of reflexology techniques is included.

5/8/25 - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

9/4/25 - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this training, participants will be able to…

  1. Define “reflexology” and explain the treatment and benefits to clients.
  2. Identify points on the reflexology chart as they relate to corresponding parts of the body.
  3. Compare the advantages of reflexology as a diagnostic tool and as a treatment.
  4. Implement a 60, 30 and 15 minute reflexology session.

Class Format

90-minute classroom study

45-minute demonstration

75-minute practicing technique, exchanging services, 

30-min review & course evaluation

Materials you will need to bring:  

One massage table, face cradle and bolster for every two students (we will help coordinate training partners)

Linens - one bottom sheet, one top sheet and two pillow cases

Blanket optional

Massage medium will be provided

meet the instructor

Theresa "Reese" Warren

Originally a St. Louis native, Reese attended Body Therapy Institute, a premier massage therapy program outside of Chapel Hill, NC. After graduating in 2009, she joined the faculty of BTI until its closure in 2016. She was then named the Director of Education at Carolina Massage Institute where she was also an instructor. She is delighted to return to the south city neighborhoods she calls home. Skilled in a variety of modalities, her specialty is myofascial structural integration and movement repatterning for active adults, athletes and chronic pain sufferers. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and kayaking.
