Course Summary
Reiki Level I (First Degree) is an introductory course designed to awaken and activate the natural healing energy within you. This foundational class focuses on self-healing, personal awareness, and learning how to channel Reiki energy through gentle touch.
Students will receive the First Degree Reiki attunements, which open the energy channels and enable the flow of Reiki for self-treatment and in-person healing sessions. The course combines theory, guided practice, and experiential learning to build confidence and understanding of Reiki as a holistic healing modality.6 Hours Continuing Education Credit

"Missy" Wingbermuehle
A 2010 graduate of The Healing Arts Center, Missy began her career as owner and practitioner of Transitions Massage Therapy, LLC, operating the practice successfully for over a decade. After closing in 2021, she transitioned into education, serving as Student Services Director and later as a Student Clinic Supervisor, supporting hands-on learning with compassion. A Reiki Master and Instructor, Missy brings a holistic approach shaped by experience as a volunteer firefighter and 911/medical helicopter dispatcher, remaining calm and service-focused under pressure.
